You mean the width of the selected curve on plot? You would like to see the automatic change on plot when selection of average name on the left has changed?

Oh I haven’t though of it that way, and that could be nice as well. But what i meant was changing the width of all of the curves changes when i change the width setting except for the averaged curves, which are a bit thin.

Yes, new release should be ready till the end of the month. Sorry for the shift. Despite the fact we are now focused on conference preparation, we made lots of updates in MFT and looking forward to complete them and release.

Some initial thoughts

Batch exporting of averaged data (or any data!) would be most welcome, right now I would have to export each averaged curve individually
Instead of using the LED names B1-B6, maybe the kelvin value would be more helpful? And does the choice of illuminant ultimately affect the measurement, I believe yes. Therefore it would be good to warn the user of that fact.

Will play with the software some more for sure. Thank you for this new release!

Hi Abed!
You are right. The choice of illuminant in the Options does influence the aging curves. The choice of illuminant in the CIE Lab tab does not.
Please, check the Choice of illuminant post for detailed explanation and recommended choices.

I want to be able to import the reflectance spectra into the software but I don’t see how I can do that? these are my settings

right now, it only spits out these files per expriement but I cant seem to import any of these to examine the reflectance spectra

Any adivce? Thanks!

Dear abedhaddad,

Sorry for late reply and thank you for giving us an opportunity to improve our software.
We studied the issue that you reported and we noticed that the reflectance spectrum was not available when the instrument was disconnected. We enabled to view the spectrum/reflectance data after loading aging files regardless if the instrument is connected. Here is the link to download the MFT upgrade:
MFT 3.0 upgrade.

The reflectance files (.rfc) are exported only for external use . This type of files cannot be imported. However, after aging file import, all the collected data are restored and the spectrum/reflectance may be viewed.
