Sorry for late reply and thank you for giving us an opportunity to improve our software.
We studied the issue that you reported and we noticed that the reflectance spectrum was not available when the instrument was disconnected. We enabled to view the spectrum/reflectance data after loading aging files regardless if the instrument is connected. Here is the link to download the MFT upgrade:

The reflectance files (.rfc) are exported only for external use . This type of files cannot be imported. However, after aging file import, all the collected data are restored and the spectrum/reflectance may be viewed.

Hi Anna, thank you for taking this into consideration, and I’m glad to see that you have made the improvement. I’m having a hard time still seeing the data. Is it looking for a .spectrum file? I only see text files, and it can’t see those files.

I would appreciate some step-by-step directions to replicate for both saving the data and importing the data back to view. Thank you!

No, .spectrum files are additional files that are prepared for an external use purpose. They might be loaded to the MFT to view it but it is not what you are after.

To view the spectrum and reflectance data you just need to load the aging file. During the aging data collection, an additional file: ‘sample name’-spect.txt is automatically exported. It stores the spectra collected during the measurements and it is automatically read when you load your aging file (as long as it is in the same directory). I suppose you moved your aging files to another directory without the -spect.txt files and this is why you do not see the spectrum and reflectance curves.
